About Ryan...

I grew up on the west side of Cincinnati, graduating from St. Xavier H.S., followed by four years at Miami University with a major in History & Political Science. In 2002 I graduated from The Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary in VA.

My kids started at the Three Rivers School District in 2010 and my wife Angie and I now have 5 children attending Three Rivers Elementary and Taylor High School. 

 

I work for the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Supervisory Tax Law Specialist, managing a group of Lawyers and Accountants, and providing technical advice on Pension law to the Director of Employee Plans. I have been a Training Coordinator for the Division for the last 9 years as well. I have negotiated with Unions, navigated tough policy areas effecting millions of people, and supervised numerous employees.

I was taught how to learn by wonderful teachers throughout my life. I believe our District provides a great learning environment with fantastic teachers. I want to ensure that our Board and Administration are focused on teaching our children how to learn. I commit to use what I have learned about asking critical questions and finding creative solutions to provide our children the best education possible while being fiscally responsible and accountable to the greater Three Rivers community. It is critically important that each dollar spent is put to the best use possible because we have asked a lot of our community to support our children and we need to keep the faith that taxpayers have entrusted to our District.
